Biography

Born in Maryland in July of 1974, Donna Lynch is a classically trained musician (piano and voice) and a completely untrained writer. Her poetry, short stories, song lyrics and first novel generally deal with horror, satire, trauma and the darker side of humanity. Her work has been heavily influenced by Poe, Lovecraft, Nabokov, Dorothy Parker, Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., Umberto Eco, Neil Gaiman, Michael Gira, and Clive Barker, to name just a few.

Since 1998, she has written and performed with her husband, artist Steven Archer in various projects; presently the dark rock band Ego Likeness, as well as the experimental/ spoken word outfit The Trinity Project.


The author beginning her recently finished novel, circa 1978 Bel Air, Maryland
