'In My Mouth'

While her stories are mostly horror fiction, Donna's poetry taps into a world of real and sometimes personal pain. Her first collection of poems, 'In My Mouth', is an example of this, centering around abuse and it's toll on one's self-esteem. This collection was written between 1996-2001.

'In My Mouth', 16 pages soft cover. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to sexual assault / domestic violence organizations. $6 (shipping included). Checks or money orders (made payable to: Donna Lynch) accepted. Please email egolikeness@egolikeness.com for orders and mailing address info. Paypal coming soon!

'Twenty-six'

'Twenty-six' (2003) is a collaboration between Lynch and Steven Archer, best described as a twisted book of ABC's. The project began with Archer's illustrations, a word (example: A is for Aftermath), and one sentence; all of which were given to Lynch in order to create portions of stories to go along with each image. The stories were put into myriad formats, resembling torn pages of books, letters, brochures, magazine articles, etc.

A series of 26 (what else?) colorful books were handmade from old books and scraps. Several have already found their way into hands of collectors, though there are still a few of this limited edition series available.

Lyrics

While the writing process for Ego Likeness and The Trinity Project is a shared one, the general rule is that Archer composes the music and Lynch writes the lyrics. This is not always the case, but it's a system that's resulted in the creation of an extensive and ever- growing discography. Lyrics for the Trinity Project can be found in the 'Poetry' section below.

Poetry

(excerpts from 'Skinned I & II')

The following are poems that have been written over many years, but have yet to be released as collections. There are fewer pieces written within the past year, as Lynch has been focusing on short stories and novels, as well as learning the art of screenplay writing.
